How to Build a Super Sand Castle


Construction of a sand castle can be the super fun for the whole family, and, save money! Instead of renting personal watercraft expensive, why not spend a few bucks in a bucket and shovel and have great memories to build a sand castle.

Building sands castles are fun and require very few materials for building. Materials you need is a bucket (or buckets of varying sizes), shovel, water, knives and plastic spoons and are always on hand, keep a spray bottle to wet your creation, and sand of course!

Water is an essential element in building a sand castle, and the better. The water acts as a 'glue' to keep the sand and hold together the desired shape. When you search for the perfect place to build your sand castle, look for points that are very sandy, but not too close to water. You do not want your masterpiece to be taken away by the tide. Some people like to develop a plan of how they want their sand castle to watch. You can draw your design on paper or in sand.

Start making great piles of sand around where you are going to build your castle of sand. To make your ideal base for your masterpiece Sandcastle pour several buckets of water on-site to form a foundation moist. Most people start after making the main castle of a medieval castle, and build several smaller ones around the main castle.

To construct the sides or make it higher is the easiest way to do it is to get wet sand between your hands and make pancakes, as the size and add to your castle. Remember the wet sand is the key to maintain your castle robust! Your main structures should be closer up and have a base of large dimensions. If you imagine the kind of shape of a megaphone, that would work well.

The wider base that you have the more favorable that your work of art will be. Building walls will be a while 'creativity and many patience! To build walls and the trick is to get a handful of wet sand at a time, squeeze out the water access and the mold that you want to build your walls. You can practice making arches and stairs, and using the same type of technique. Using the spray bottle will keep your creation and humid crumbling. Building sands castles is a fun family activity, and always remember your sunscreen.

Making a sand castle was my favourite game many years ago and I am very sad not doing it anymore. You have practicly returned me to my childhood for a few minutes. Thanks! And you have posted here real ''architecture'' stuff. :) I even found out that there were web sites about this, what I couldn't imagine.

    i like to the beach and one of my like activity in the beach is making sand castle..because is fun, i remember was i child LOL..by the way thank you for the tips..is very usefull for me..
