What You Need to Know Before Going International


Some international travel is universal. Other limitation are country specific. The general rules is that all travelers have a valid passport. In some countries, visas are not needed anymore. Check with the State Department for a list of countries that require visas allowed to do.

CBP: On entry into the United States, a Customs and Border Patrol agent will require that you fill out a declaration form. This form help determine the agent, if what you are allowed to bring into the country. The agent will conduct an interview, if the form is completed. On the occasion, other forms may be requested.

Health: You can also interviewed health assessment. You can have your temperature taken or will be asked to submit to a comprehensive medical examination. Keep a copy of your vaccinations and a doctor's note is to accelerate this discussion.

Medications: All medications, prescription and over the counter medication must be declared on entry into any country. Failure to do so could result in your deportation or refusal to enter the. All prescription medications must be in their original bottles. You must also explain copies of the prescription of the doctor and a note from your doctor that these medicines. Drugs that are addictive, can be rejected.

Pets: Most countries require a quarantine of any animal in another country hit. Even working dogs such as guide dogs are under quarantining. Birds entering or leaving countries with high prevalence of H5N1 are no longer allowed. Check with your destination country for further information on pet rules.

Seeds: Most seeds is a permit required to be brought into the country. These include handicrafts, which may contain seeds. This is related to the native flora from invasive species that are not native to protect the country.

Soil: Sand and dirt will be taken not authorized or brought into a country. Dirt and sand harbor parasites that could harm the natural order of the environment of a country. Occasionally, special permits for research and science allowed.

It is advisable to international travel arrangements before you enter a foreign country or the purchase of goods that will not be allowed back into the country to know.
